Anthony DiSimone
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. DiSimone is the Chief Executive Officer of Peak Rock Capital. Peak Rock manages over $4 billion in equity and debt funds focused on investing in middle market businesses. He has completed a broad variety of investments across numerous industries and transaction types. He has served on the board of directors of many middle market companies working with management teams to achieve accelerated growth and performance improvement.
Mr. DiSimone has extensive industry leadership experience as a Managing Partner and Managing Director at investment funds affiliated with Aurora Capital and H.I.G. Capital, respectively. Previously, Mr. DiSimone was a Manager at Bain & Company where he led turnaround/performance improvement, merger and acquisition, and strategy engagements for leading domestic and international companies.
Mr. DiSimone received a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a bachelor of science degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Boston University.
Steve Martinez
President
Mr. Martinez is the President of Peak Rock. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process and focuses on private equity transactions across industrials, consumer, and business services, including healthcare and technology. Mr. Martinez serves on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies, working with their executive teams to enhance growth strategy and operational excellence.
Previously, Mr. Martinez was a Managing Director of Aurora Resurgence, led the West Coast Private Credit business within the Special Situations Group of Goldman Sachs and led the San Francisco office of American Capital. He began his career in private equity at H.I.G. Capital in their Miami and San Francisco offices.
Mr. Martinez received a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he was a Citibank Fellow, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
Jung Choi
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Choi is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Peak Rock. Previously, Mr. Choi was a Vice President at the Carlyle Group where he served as Chief Financial Officer for Carlyle Mezzanine Partners and head of partnership accounting for Carlyle’s distressed debt and energy mezzanine funds within the Global Market Strategies group. Prior to that he was at Credit Suisse where he was a controller for one of the DLJ Merchant Banking funds. He also previously spent time at JP Morgan Partners and began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Choi received a master’s degree in business administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tulane University. He is also a CPA in the state of New York.
Robert Strauss
Senior Managing Director
Mr. Strauss is a Senior Managing Director of Peak Rock. He helps lead all aspects of the investment process and also works closely with portfolio company executive teams to drive value creation initiatives. Mr. Strauss has led many of the firm’s investments in the Food and Beverage, Packaging, and Industrial sectors and serves on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies. He has extensive experience helping family founded businesses and corporate carve outs grow revenue and expand margins through transformational facility expansions, revitalized commercial and product strategies and enhanced operational execution.
Mr. Strauss possesses over 20 years of private equity investing experience, having previously worked at Aurora Resurgence, Insight Equity and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Mr. Strauss began his career working in the investment banking divisions of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Strauss received a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Nicholas Basso
Managing Director
Mr. Basso is a Managing Director at Peak Rock. He helps to lead the firm’s investments across corporate credit, with a focus on creative debt financings that require speed and certainty of execution. He has led more than a billion dollars of investments in highly structured direct loans as well as secondary credit opportunities.
Previously, Mr. Basso was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management, where he spent nearly a decade in the Strategic Credit and Distressed Debt groups. He began his career at Citigroup in mergers & acquisitions, where he helped to advise on public & private transactions.
Mr. Basso received a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in business administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Jordan Campbell
Managing Director
Mr. Campbell is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, structuring, financing, and supporting the execution of growth and operational initiatives. Mr. Campbell serves on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies and has led investments across a wide range of industries including chemicals, distribution, packaging, consumer packaged food, building products, and industrials.
Previously, Mr. Campbell was with McKinsey & Company, a leading consulting firm, where he worked across a variety of industries on operational and organizational improvement initiatives. Prior to joining McKinsey, he was an Associate at Houlihan Lokey, where he was a member of the Financial Restructuring Group.
Mr. Campbell received a master’s degree in business administration, with distinction, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
Alex Dabbous
Managing Director
Mr. Dabbous is a Managing Director of Peak Rock Capital Europe, where he is involved in sourcing and leading all aspects of transactions. He has extensive experience leading investments in corporate carve-outs, founder-owned companies and restructurings. Mr. Dabbous has completed numerous transactions across multiple European geographies, with particular experience in consumer, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
Previously, he was a Partner and board member of Montagu Private Equity, where he led a number of investments in middle market companies and served on their boards of directors. Mr. Dabbous has also worked as a consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Mr. Dabbous received a master’s degree in business administration with distinction from INSEAD and a master of arts (Oxon.) in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University.
Ryan Fitch
Managing Director
Mr. Fitch is a Managing Director and the Head of Business Development at Peak Rock. He leads a team focused on identifying, sourcing and qualifying new opportunities and is responsible for helping develop and execute the new investment origination strategy for the firm. Mr. Fitch manages strategic relationships with a broad set of investment banks, corporations and other intermediaries. He has deep experience across many industries and transactions types, including with family and founder sellers and corporate divestitures.
Mr. Fitch has over 15 years of private equity experience and was previously a Vice President at Platinum Equity. Mr. Fitch earned a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California at Berkeley.
Peter Leibman
Managing Director
Mr. Leibman is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process and focuses on both equity and credit investments across consumer, industrial, healthcare, commercial services and technology sectors. Mr. Leibman has served on numerous Boards of Directors, working with executive teams at portfolio companies to accelerate organic growth, pursue add-on acquisitions and enhance operational excellence.
Previously, Mr. Leibman was with Aurora Resurgence, a special situations focused private equity fund. Prior to that, Mr. Leibman was at Bain & Company where he led numerous engagements for middle market and Fortune 500 clients in North America and Europe.
Mr. Leibman received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematical methods in the social sciences, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University.
Spencer Moore
Managing Director
Mr. Moore is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He is responsible for originating, structuring, financing, and underwriting private equity investments in the healthcare, consumer, and business services industries. As a member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Moore also works closely with portfolio company executive teams to drive value creation initiatives.
Mr. Moore has over 15 years of private equity experience and was previously a Vice President at The Riverside Company and an Associate at Arcapita and Banc of America Capital Investors. Mr. Moore began his career at Harris Williams.
Mr. Moore received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in economics and history from Vanderbilt University.
Thomas Moran
Managing Director
Mr. Moran is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He leads all aspects of the Real Estate investment process at Peak Rock. Mr. Moran has over 20 years of real estate experience investing in debt, equity, and various real estate structured products. Over the course of his career, Mr. Moran has purchased debt, structured whole loans and subordinate financing, and acquired equity positions across all asset classes throughout various economic cycles.
Previously, Mr. Moran was a Managing Director at Madison Marquette, where he led the Special Situations investing effort and the East Coast Real Estate Private Equity practice. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, where he started the Real Estate Group and was responsible for sourcing, execution, and oversight of credit and equity real estate investments across multiple fund vehicles. Mr. Moran began his career in Real Estate Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Moran received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University.
Mitch Peoples
Executive Director of Fund Reporting & Information Services
Mr. Peoples is the Executive Director of Fund Reporting & Information Services of Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Manager with Deloitte where he focused on the audits of hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and private equity clients. His clients included leading private equity and investment managers.
Mr. Peoples received a master’s degree in professional accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is also a CPA in the state of Texas.
Robert Pistilli
Managing Director
Mr. Pistilli is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He is responsible for originating, evaluating, underwriting and structuring private equity investments across a variety of consumer, industrial, and business service sectors. Additionally, Mr. Pistilli provides oversight to portfolio companies, assisting with growth strategy formulation and execution, as an active member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Pistilli has over 15 years of Private Equity experience, having previously worked at Halyard Capital and Hampshire Equity Partners, and has led investments in middle market companies across various industries. Mr. Pistilli began his career within the Mergers & Acquisitions group of CIBC World Markets.
Mr. Pistilli received a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in economics and business management from Cornell University.
Yoni Riemer
Managing Director
Mr. Riemer is the Managing Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Peak Rock. In his role, Yoni leads the Investor Relations team across all Peak Rock fund strategies, and also helps oversee communications and firm development initiatives. He joined Peak Rock as a Vice President, and subsequently served as a Principal on the Private Equity investment team. Yoni started his career an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and an Associate at Aurora Resurgence.
Mr. Riemer received a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in public policy and economics, cum laude, from Duke University.
Dave Alter
Principal
Mr. Alter is a Principal at Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Founder and Partner of AV Capital, where he led equity investments in middle market companies and served as a board member for multiple portfolio companies. Prior to AV Capital, Mr. Alter was a Principal in the middle market investment practice at Austin Ventures. Mr. Alter began his career as an investment banking analyst at Greenhill & Co. and UBS.
Mr. Alter received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin.
Bjorn Axelsson
Director
Mr. Axelsson is a Director of Investor Relations at Peak Rock. In his role he is responsible for client services and capital raising across Peak Rock fund strategies. Mr. Axelsson has over eight years of experience servicing investors across multiple asset classes. Previously he was a Vice President at Prospect Capital Management, a Vice President at GAMMA Capital Management, and an Associate at Pareto Securities.
Mr. Axelsson received a master of finance from MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor of science in engineering from Reykjavik University. Additionally, Mr. Axelsson is a CFA® charterholder.
Carsten Beck
Principal
Mr. Beck is a Principal of Business Development at Peak Rock Capital Europe. Previously, he was a Director at Barclays’ Investment Banking Division in London where he led numerous public and private transactions in the manufacturing sector. Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Beck was a Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Frankfurt and New York where he was involved in a range of M&A transactions across various industries. Mr. Beck began his career at McKinsey & Company in Germany.
Mr. Beck received a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Columbia University, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ecole Superieure de Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC), France.
Philos Carnio
Principal
Mr. Carnio is a Principal at Peak Rock Capital Europe. Previously, he was a Principal at Clayton Dubilier & Rice, where he focused on evaluating investment opportunities across Europe. Prior to joining Clayton Dubilier & Rice, he was an associate at Doughty Hanson, where he was involved in middle market investments across various industries. Mr. Carnio began his career at Greenhill & Co. in London.
Mr. Carnio received a degree in financial markets and institutions from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy and a diploma in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics.
Karson Chang

Mr. Chang is a Principal at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Associate at Black Diamond Capital Management, where he focused on debt investments across a variety of industries for the firm’s CLO, hedge fund, and private equity platforms. Prior to joining Black Diamond, Mr. Chang was a high yield credit research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Michael Graham

Mr. Graham is a Principal at Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Vice President at The Capitala Group where he led debt and equity investments in middle market companies across various industries. Prior to joining The Capitala Group, he was an Associate at Arcapita. Mr. Graham began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch where he assisted in executing numerous M&A transactions.

Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney and Company, where he focused on making control investments in middle market companies. Before joining HKW, Mr. Iden was an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Mason is a Principal at Peak Rock. Previously, he held the positions of Vice President, Senior Associate and Associate at Peak Rock. Mr. Thomas began his career at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital where he assisted in executing numerous M&A transactions.

PJ Torres

Mr. Torres is the Director of Financial Planning at Peak Rock. Previously, Mr. Torres was a Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Sixth Street Partners. Prior to that he was a Assistant Vice President of Finance at OFI SteelPath. He began his career in public accounting at PwC.
Mr. Torres received a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree of business administration in accounting from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is also a CPA in the state of Texas.
Constantine Tujios

Mr. Tujios is a Principal at Peak Rock. He is involved in all aspects of the real estate investment process including sourcing, diligence and execution. Mr. Tujios has over 15 years of real estate experience investing across both debt and equity in a broad variety of property and transaction types. Previously, Mr. Tujios was a Senior Vice President at Silverpeak, where he led real estate investments throughout the U.S. Prior to that, he worked in the Real Estate Private Equity Group at Lehman Brothers where he focused on both equity and debt investments. Mr. Tujios began his career in the Securitization Banking Group at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Tujios received a bachelor of science degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
William Badarak
Vice President
Mr. Badarak is a Vice President at Peak Rock. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Associate and Associate at Peak Rock. Prior to joining Peak Rock, he was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup, where he worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions and capital raises.
Mr. Badarak received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree of business administration in finance, with honors, from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Steven Cohan
Assistant Controller
Mr. Cohan is the Assistant Controller of Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Assistant Vice President with EisnerAmper RESIG where his clients included leading real estate investment firms. Prior to his role at EisnerAmper RESIG, Mr. Cohan was a Senior Fund Accountant at Brookfield Asset Management, where he worked on several of Brookfield’s real estate private funds.
Mr. Cohan received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
James Crespo

Mr. Crespo is a Senior Associate at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Associate at Diversis Capital, where he focused on private equity and debt investments across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Diversis Capital, Mr. Crespo was an Associate at Lazard and Accel-KKR within their operations team (AKKR Consulting Group) where he worked directly with portfolio companies to identify and execute operating initiatives. Mr. Crespo began his career in investment banking at UBS.

Aaqeeb Dhukka

Mr. Dhukka is a Senior Associate at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Associate at Orion Energy Partners, where he focused on credit and equity investments in middle market companies across North America. Prior to joining Orion Energy Partners, Mr. Dhukka was an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore.
Mr. Dhukka received a bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems and operations management from the Goizueta Business School and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Emory University.

Joe Garigliano

While at Lazard, Mr. Garigliano worked on merger and acquisition advisory engagements across a variety of industries. Mr. Kenna is an Associate at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Associate with Cotton Creek Capital, where he focused on equity investments in middle market companies. Prior to joining Cotton Creek, he was an Analyst at Harris Williams, where he worked on a number of merger and acquisition advisory engagements across a variety of industries.
Mr. Kenna received a bachelor’s degree of business administration in finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chris Knight

Mr. Knight is a Vice President of Finance and Compliance at Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at PwC where he focused on the audits of financial service companies. His clients included leading asset management companies.
Mr. Knight received a master’s degree in professional accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University. He is also CPA in the state of Texas.
David Logcher

Mr. Logcher is a Senior Associate at Peak Rock Capital Europe. Previously, he was an Analyst at Rothschild & Co in London where he worked on a variety of public and private transactions and capital raises.
Mr. Logcher received a master’s degree in financial economics, cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Pierre Luciat-Labry

Mr. Luciat-Labry is an Associate at Peak Rock Capital Europe. Previously, he was an Analyst at UBS in London, where he worked on a number of merger and acquisition advisory engagements across a variety of industries.
Mr. Luciat-Labry received a master’s degree in management from HEC Paris (Dean’s List) and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McGill University (Dean’s List).
Christopher Perron

Ms. Pisarczyk received a master’s degree in finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Solis is an Accountant at Peak Rock. Previously, she was the Accounting Project Manager at Keller Offers where she focused on a variety of finance and accounting functions. Prior to her role at Keller Offers, Ms. Solis was an Analyst at Accenture where she worked on multiple projects with corporate clients.
Ms. Solis received a bachelor’s degree of business administration in management at Texas State University with a focus in entrepreneurial studies.

Mr. Thompson is the Controller of Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Manager with Deloitte where he focused on the audits of publicly traded financial businesses. His clients included leading real estate firms and industrial businesses.
Mr. Thompson received a master’s degree in professional accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University.
Nick Uretsky

Mr. Uretsky is a Senior Associate at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Associate at Hudson Advisors, an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, where he focused on private equity and debt investments across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Hudson Advisors, Mr. Uretsky worked as an Analyst at Moelis & Company.

Reed Westerman

Mr. Westerman is a Vice President at Peak Rock. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Hudson Advisors, an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, where he was responsible for executing and managing private equity and debt investments across North America. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets where he focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financings.
Mr. Westerman received a bachelor’s degree in finance, cum laude, from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Brendan Wolf

Mr. Wolf is a Vice President at Peak Rock. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Associate and Associate at Peak Rock. Prior to joining Peak Rock, he was an Analyst at Houlihan Lokey, where he was a member of the Financial Restructuring Group. While at Houlihan, Mr. Wolf worked on a number of complex financial restructurings, including mergers and acquisitions and capital raises across a variety of industries.
Mr. Wolf received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree, with distinction, in finance, investment and banking from the University of Wisconsin.
David Wolfish

Mr. Wolfish is a Vice President at Peak Rock. Previously, he was an Engagement Manager at L.E.K. Consulting and worked in both the Boston and Tokyo offices. David led major strategic initiatives for corporate clients, as well as commercial and vendor due diligences for many leading private equity firms. Mr. Wolfish has experience working with middle market and Fortune 500 companies across a range of sectors.
Mr. Wolfish earned a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics, and economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ray Ballotta
Managing Director – Peak Growth Consulting
Mr. Ballotta is a Managing Director of Peak Growth Consulting. Prior to joining Peak Growth Consulting he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cardinal Midstream, a private equity backed energy company. Prior to Cardinal Midstream, Mr. Ballotta was a partner at Deloitte where he served some of the firm’s largest private equity clients and led hundreds of mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory related engagements.
Mr. Ballotta received a BBA in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
Mario Barbero
Managing Director – Peak Growth Consulting
Mr. Barbero is a Managing Director of Peak Growth Consulting. Prior to joining Peak Growth Consulting, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Precision Global, a private equity backed multinational manufacturer of packaging dispensing solutions. Prior to Precision Global, Mr. Barbero was Chief Executive Officer of Alltub, a multinational packaging business carved out of Alcan Packaging. He has also held multiple commercial and operating leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
Mr. Barbero received degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Torino, Italy.
Jim Lott
Managing Director – Peak Growth Consulting
Mr. Lott is a Managing Director of Peak Growth Consulting. Prior to joining Peak Growth Consulting he served as Chief Information Officer at GTCR, where he led portfolio initiatives focused on operations across the technology sector. He has also held CIO and various other technology-oriented leadership roles at businesses ranging from global manufacturers to software development firms.
Mr. Lott earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maryland.
Ryan Smith

Mr. Smith is a Managing Director of Peak Growth Consulting. Prior to joining Peak Growth Consulting he served as the Vice President of Global Commercial Readiness for Beyond Meat and the Senior Vice President of Operations Development and Engineering for Keurig Dr Pepper. In addition, Mr. Smith held several senior leadership positions within other businesses and is a veteran of the Iraq War, retiring from the US Army at the rank of Captain.
Mr. Smith received a master’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Steven Ziessler

Mr. Ziessler is a Managing Director of Peak Growth Consulting. Prior to joining Peak Growth Consulting he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Tile, Detroit Renewable Energy and Guardian Building Products. He has also served as an Operating Partner and Board Member for Soundview Paper Company and the Chief Operating Officer of Cellu Tissue / Clearwater Paper Company. Mr. Ziessler also spent time as the President of the Kimberly-Clark Professional Europe and Vice President of Kimberly-Clark North America.
Mr. Ziessler earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University.
